Hi my name is Rebecca Tomas and I want to welcome you to my website. I am a professional, qualified nail technician from the UK. I have been working in the nail and beauty industry since 1998. I started out by completing an NVQ in beauty therapy. This is where my love for nails grew. I have had extensive training with various professional nail care brands. Some of these leader brands include CND, OPI and Artistic. I became certified as a master nail technician after attending the CND academy in London.

I have worked at various high end and five star spas and salons in London, and across the south east of England. I have participated in national nail competitions, entering a variety of categories. Some of which included tip and overlay nail extensions and mixed media nail art, where I placed third.

I am also qualified to teach. I love to share all my insider industry knowledge with anybody willing to listen. That’s led me to starting this site. So that I can share all that information I have about nails and beauty.

It soon became very clear to me that most clients were not getting the education they needed. It was hard for them to decided which service was best for their nails. Followed by little, no or even incorrect advice on how maintain their nails was a recipe for disaster.

How will Nail Adviser change your life?

I am very passionate about nails and it shows. The way I do things is different from the many other nail technicians you will find in high street salons. While providing a service to my clients I’m always striving to give the best five star experience.

I have trained by some of the top leaders in the industry. As a professional it is part of my job to give clients advice and recommendations. You don’t get that everywhere.

I have had some clients in the past, shocked to be able to have a conversation with their manicurist. Some people don’t want to hear what is good or bad for their nails and that’s fine too. But its not the kind of service I offer.

At the end of the day its the clients choice to decide on the treatment they want. It is our job as professionals to give guidance on what is best to suit the clients needs and lifestyle. Whatever the clients decides, I will always take great care to ensure the nails condition. I will always put the clients needs first. Using highest quality genuine products avoiding using harsh methods or damaging products.

A real nail technician can perform every aspect of nails not one. For example I am trained and experienced in all nail systems. So I can give a honest and fair opinion on which system works best for which nail type. With this I can provide correct professional nail care service and advice.

Most nail products and systems have been around for years. But every now and then a company try’s to market a “new” technique. Many people will fall into this trap thinking it’s the newest and best.

As a CND Shellac certified professional, I buy products from official UK suppliers. It is important to know that genuine products are being used on your nails. There can be many problems that arise if your not using the real deal. So please be aware of the fakes out there.
